RECRUITMENT

The applicants who have served in the Tri-forces and the Police are selected subsequent to a scrutiny. Those who possess experience in the security trade are also considered.

Each of the recruits is well screened to ensure that he/she conforms to the following standards

Physical and mental health

Applicants are selected based on good physical and mental health conditions.

2.

Records of past employment experience

All applicants are required to furnish documentary proof of their previous employment and past experiences.

3.

Grama Niladhari's Certificate and the Police Screening Report

It is a must to furnish The Police Clearance Certificate along with the Grama Niladhari Certificate from the applicant's permanent residential area.

Educational Qualifications
Minimum being the G.C.E. (O/L) with a Credit Pass in English
Service Experience
At least 3 years experience in the Supervisory Grade in Commercial Security Sector or minimum of 10 Years experience in one of the Forces as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or in the Police Department.
Language Proficiency
Written and spoken communication skills in English language. Proficiency in other languages is considered as an added qualification.

Education up to Grade 11
Service Experience
No previous experience required. Recruits are provided with professional training covering the basic knowledge in Security, Fire Fighting and First-Aid.

Education up to G. C. E. (O/L) with a Simple Pass in English
Service Experience
At least 2 years experience in Commercial Security field
